Six things to plan ahead for 2026 Manila International Auto Show
Heading to the 2026 Manila International Auto Show? Here are some tips to make sure you maximize the experience at World Trade Center

We’re only two days away from the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). With 24 brands confirmed for this year’s auto show, a multitude of car launches, countless electrified mobility innovations, exclusive deals, and test drive events, the 2026 edition of MIAS is gearing up to be the biggest and best yet.
With one big event covering four days and two venues (World Trade Center and Philippine Trade Training Center), MIAS 2026 is bound to be one heck of an auto show for visitors. In light of that, we list six things to plan before visiting the 2026 Manila International Auto Show.

1.) Book Your Tickets Online
Instead of hassling yourself and enduring long lines to get tickets, why not register online and book the tickets ahead of time? Not only will you save precious time, but you’ll also skip having to wait in line and have more time to explore the cars inside World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) and the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC).

2.) Park Early
It pays to be early when going to auto shows, which means you have to know when and where to park early. Those who will bring vehicles to the World Trade Center Metro Manila can park their cars right across Buendia Avenue. But should the parking area across the WTCMM already be full, the other area where visitors can park their cars is at the CCP Open Grounds. This one is slightly farther, which means you have to take note of the distance. However, there will be shuttles available to ferry passengers to and from the venue.

3.) Have a personal fan
With the summer heat and sweltering temperatures, having your own personal electric fan can keep you cool amidst the hot temperatures. While both WTCMM and PTTC are air-conditioned, both venues can get crowded, and the air-conditioning systems can only handle so many people.

4.) Bring Water
Since this year’s MIAS covers two venues, one might get thirsty as you explore and check out the wide array of vehicles on display. With that, better have some water on hand before heading to the show. While there are food concessionaires present at the show, you can save more if you just bring your own. After all, it’s a big event, and sellers also need to sell and make a profit.

5.) Don't forget your driver's license
Aside from the new car launches inside the World Trade Center, most participating brands are also offering free test drives of their newest vehicles outside the main event area. That said, bringing your driver's license is a must if you want to try out the cars for yourself, since you'll be signing a waiver before they let you drive.

6.) Wear comfy shoes
Last but certainly not least, wear comfortable shoes. With lots of ground to cover, including going to and from the parking areas, wearing your most comfortable set of sneakers, boots, or trainers is a must. The step count will definitely rise as you check out the cars at this year’s Manila International Auto Show.
Those are just some of the things we think could help you maximize and enjoy the experience, as the Manila International Auto Show opens its doors this Thursday, April 9, 2026. With fuel prices still at an all-time high, it might also be best if you carpool with your friends if you plan on bringing a vehicle.
